What kind of samples can be analysed?
Basically solid and liquid samples can be analysed..
How much sample material is needed in order to analyse it?
Depending on the analysis method, only a few grams or, in exceptional cases, some milligrams are needed. We can clarify this in detail in advance.
What exactly can terrachem measure/analyse/detect?
Our analysis methods allow the identification of the elemental composition of the samples (qualitatively, semi-qualitatively and/or quantitatively). Moreover, we can detect the crystalline structure of substances.
How long does it take?
Generally, it takes five workdays from the arrival of the sample to the reporting of the results. With our formal offer, you will be informed about our binding reporting time considering all of the known parameters and framework conditions at that time.
It is urgent! Is there a fast way?
Express service can be arranged for an additional charge, provided that the particular capacities are available.
What happens with the samples after analysing them?
Except otherwise stipulated, the samples and further not used sample material are stored for at least 3 months and are available e.g. as reference samples. After expiration of the retention period, the sample material will be disposed correctly.
How will I be informed about the results?
If desired, the measurement report will be transmitted electronically. The original one is delivered by post.
Are some measurements processed by other companies?
Terrachem only accepts orders which can be mainly processed by terrachem. If additional measurements are needed, these can be passed on to the already mentioned laboratories of our partners. In this case, we will ask for your permission in advance.
Is terrachem certified?
Terrachem Analytical Laboratory is accredited by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) according to the guidelines DIN ISO/IEC 17025.
